Message Board

We are a Retirement Facility and Adoption Organization that works for the retired racing Greyhound.

We are dedicated to the Greyhound breed and educating the general public about all facets of Greyhound life. We work strictly for the breed and its existence.

Our duty is to provide quality care for the dogs in our facility and place these dogs into loving homes through the adoption process.

Every Greyhound has a unique history, and we provide Personal Pet Portfolios to the new owner with pedigrees, racing information and health information about their pet.

The Greyhound is a beautifully proportioned athlete and to see him in motion is an absolutely awesome sight. They can reach speeds up to 45 miles per hour and can run 5/16's of a mile in an average 31 seconds.

Be a part of Greyhound history, let one of these beautiful animals race into your home and heart.

What's a Message Board?

We at PRH believe the very best thing we have to offer, besides our dogs of course, is our support and strength! The PRH Message board was established  just about a year ago and to date has over 300 people registered. We feel this is one of the best ways to keep in touch with one another, create a sense of family as well as assist each other with any issues we may have with our dogs while they settle in to their new home. It makes no difference what time of day or what time of night...there is always someone online for you!

We use our message board to talk about kennel happenings, kids that have been fostered, and various other greyhound and non greyhound "stuff."

Join us, you'll be glad you did and your greyhound will love you for it!

Don't have a greyhound yet?? No problem, get your questions answered and make new friends. Find out about some of the kennel kids and join the camaraderie!
